Balance Single Arm Row Instructions

  • Set the exercise band or cable at shoulder height.
  • Set up either balance disks, bosu ball, or any other balance equipment.
  1. Step back away from the anchor to achieve the desired resistance.
  2. Step up on the balance disks.
  3. Starting with your lead leg (the leg on the same side as the hand holding the exercise band) drive your hip back by extending your leg.
  4. Use your abdominals to pull your torso around.
  5. Pull the exercise band back leading with your elbow.
  6. Pause in the back position and repeat.
  • Start out slow with this exercise and as you gain balance, increase the speed.
  • The most challenging part of this exercise is getting your lead leg to pop quickly without falling.
