Dumbbell Shoulder Tap
This exercise is fantastic following shoulder rehab work as well as being a great way to build shoulder strength. It puts emphasis on the anterior and lateral deltoid which are important for generating rotational power in your golf swing.

Primary Muscles Used

Dumbbell Shoulder Tap Instructions
- Grab a pair of dumbbells and rest your arms to your side.
- One at a time raise each dumbbell, turning your thumb inward as if you were trying to touch your shoulder with your thumb.
- Make sure to raise your elbows high enough so that they are in line with your hand and the dumbbell.
- Then slowly lower it back down to your side.
- Once you do this with both dumbbells to each shoulder that is considered one repetition.
- Repeat.
