Tim's list of benefits for the Star Trac Leg Abductor
- The hip abductors are closely related to the core muscles and are crucial for balance and athletic activity. Due to extended time spent sitting during the day, many people develop weak gluteus muscles.
- Being inactive for a long time can lead to the body turning off the natural activation of these muscles, making them harder to use during exercise and in daily life. This can make your body resort to using other muscles not meant for those tasks, throwing your body out of balance.
- This is a great exercise to strengthen the glutes and other hip stabilizer muscles without having to put pressure on the spine or knees.
- Increasing your core stability through hip exercises will decrease lower back pain.
