Exploding Ball Slam
Pushing down with your upper body (upper body movement during your swing) while driving up with your legs (leg movement during your swing) is not an easy thing to do effectively. This exercise will help you rock it!

Exploding Ball Slam Instructions
- Choose a medicine ball that is heavy, but manageable.
- Hold the medicine ball with both hands in front of your chest, and hip hinge slightly.
- Bend your knees to squat down and raise the medicine ball over your head.
- Jump in the air, and at the same time, slam the ball down as hard as you can.
- You are trying to increase your upward momentum by throwing the medicine ball down as hard as you can, the way a rocket ship accelerates off of the ships booster.
- Pick up the ball and repeat.
