Lead Leg Explosive Jump Instructions

  • Stand somewhere that you have plenty of room to move without bumping into things.
  1. Stand with your feet about shoulder width apart and your weight distributed evenly.
  2. Push laterally off your trail leg, transferring 70% of your weight to your lead leg.
  3. Right as the weight is transferred push up and back with your lead leg as hard as you can. This push should rotate your hips, try to keep your upper torso facing forward and just let your lower body and hips rotate.
  4. Walk back to the starting position and repeat.
  5. Perform in both directions.
