Standing Forearm Curl Instructions

  • Use a straight barbell with a comfortable amount of weight.
  1. Grab the bar with an overhand grip about shoulder width apart.
  2. Stand up straight, with a tight core, leaning over just slightly so the bar is not touching your legs/waist.
  3. Let your arms stay straight and curl your hands up as far as you can.
  4. Slowly let your wrists straighten.
  5. When your wrists are straight loosen your grip to let the bar roll down your fingers.
  6. Return to the start.
  7. Repeat.
